A great deal of these people are doing this by way of a Blog (web log for the uninitiated, an online journal) The great thing about a blog is there is no need to be knowledgable in any coding or even the internet. If you are able to sign on and type, you can blog! There are various online blogging sites around and you can sign up and start straight away. http://www.blogger.com/start http://www.blog.com http://www.blogontheweb.com/CreateBlog.aspx are three I know of (please check out if they are acceptable to you before you sign up) and there are many many others.
