Quite amazing how the famine can turn to a feast in the blink of an eye.
After finishing the house, it was quiet. People kept explaining to me that it was the financial downturn, the rural drought, and even the local community doesn’t need your type of skills. Throughout it all I have been carrying on with my successful actions… letting people know I could help them, keeping in touch with my network, being ready to do what was asked for.
Just a comment about “my network”. I think that “network” is such a belittling word as it conjures up so many connotations that don’t actually reflect the people involved in the relationship. Each person in this group, has a unique set of values that align with mine. Far more important than the run of the mill network!
but back to the case in point… this last week the results of the successful actions have started to show through. I am building towards a full schedule quietly and quickly.
The results prove out that it is important not to be sucked in by the “think” going around. Stay on track even when you are feeling down in the dumps.

When visiting websites around the traps, there are so many that offer newsletters. It raises the question, How many people sign up for them?
I have the facility on my websites too, they attract a response and I send out my news. It does keep people in the know and your face in front of the subscriber.
I did a google search “suscribe to newsletter”, There were 223,000,000 results for this and I had spelt subscribe wrong
When I searched on google “subscribe to newsletter”, there were only 212,000,000 results. Does that mean that there are 11,000,000 spelling mistakes? Either way 223 million is one hell of a lot of newsletters floating around the planet. I wonder what they all say?
Anyway you can sign up for mine HERE, and HERE.

I have just rebooted the server where http://billgray.biz sits. Servers are temperamental sons of riches. There is very little that goes wrong as, over time, the technology and community has done all in its power to automate problem handling but sometimes, just sometimes, it all turns to custard
So when your site goes down, in the short term, don’t worry. When a server goes down, alarm bells ring and the automated problem responses get into gear. Servers fire out emails like they are going out of fashion and it would be very surprising if no one knew of the dilemma.
If it is a problem, 9 times out of 10, the issue is already being handled. It sometimes just takes a little time to get it up and running again.
As you can see, its all up and running again. It was a simple matter of rebooting the system. You may ask why, why did it crash? why did that happen? I have found that asking questions like that do only one thing… cause the asker to lose sleep. Patience has a great way of ironing out all the problems
