Confused? It’s a Jigsaw Puzzle!
We live in a world where people are sometimes unpredictable, darn right rude or totally oblivious to our own feelings and emotions. The thing is, we still have to live in this world, despite these people and sometimes they are closer to us than we would wish.
Now, of course I can give you advice here, like, just relax, don’t worry about it… but I know, as well as you do, that it does matter to us. These people stink, their attitude is horrendous and sometimes we would all like to tell them to go take a big flying jump off the highest building around our neighborhood.
But we don’t do that do we?… You see, the reason we don’t actually do it is because we have set our own standard. Our own level in which we will not drop below otherwise we will end up feeling worse than we do when this individual mouths off at us.
This is a skill, believe it or not… a skill that allows us to pull back from full on confrontation and dispute. It’s a great skill to possess as it allows for the peace and tranquility of the being to come to the fore.
There is a signature quote that says”Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience”.
This best sums up the people who want to make your life a misery.

Last week I mentioned a program called The Clean Sweep Program. You have more natural energy when you are complete with your environment, well-being, money and relationships. The Clean Sweep program consists of 100 items which, when completed, give you the vitality and strength that you want.
The great thing about this program is that it helps clear up confusions by providing a series of actions that ultimately lead to a healthier environment. When you have a healthier environment, you also feel better.
Confusion is an overlooked subject although quite a few people go through stages of confusion nearly every day. Confusion can be looked at as unordered particles rushing around in a disordered fashion.
Now, no matter how confused the area looks or how disorganized, there is a simple solution to overcoming the circumstance. Confusion could be looked at as a mixed up jigsaw puzzle. To overcome the confusion you must start somewhere. Grab hold of one piece, it doesn’t matter which piece and deal with that then look for the next piece. As soon as you pick the first piece, you have started to take control and as you keep working through the “mess” the confusion becomes orderly. Just like the jigsaw puzzle, soon a picture emerges.
Now if you feel confused but don’t really have a puzzle in front of you, the solution is to get yourself located. Find a space where you can feel secure and make that your base (as you can see, you are starting somewhere.) You are finding a location… picking the first piece of the puzzle. The next part becomes slightly easier as it is a matter of picking the next piece to do… it doesn’t matter what piece you pick up just work through them and soon the confusion will be resolved.
Quite often other people think that due to your confusion, you need to learn more, or you need to be taught another skill. This will only add to the confusion and just pile more fuel onto the fire. Managers and Supervisors always seem to create havoc when people start new jobs by doing just this. The new person starts a job and then gets inundated with information. Once this confusion hits, it is a matter of stepping back, locating a particular space or item and dealing with that. It is not about giving more information or spacing the person out by taking them on a tour of other parts of the building or complex.
………………………..
Talking of jigsaw puzzles, another issue that pops its head up and creates a similar feeling to confusion is when you try and get to the top of the mountain by taking the steepest route. Too steep a gradient can ruin it for us, confuse us and undermine our confidence. It’s like running a marathon before we can jog around the block. Your legs turn to jelly and you crash out.
Now there are two sides to this. If the gradient is too shallow we get bored, we lose interest and head off on another path. If it is too steep, we end up in confusion or we fall over. You hear this being talked about quite often… don’t run until you can walk. We naturally do this until such time as some pressure is exerted on us, then we forget the lesson and try to run. Sometimes we hang in there and surprise ourselves but sometimes we overstep the mark and take a tumble.
We hear this term “Burn Out” all the time. Well, we have it sorted, by taking notice of the above two examples. Dealing with the confusion and making sure we are on the right gradient for us.

Network Marketing or Networking, however the idea is put across, don’t you find you have a little twinge of suspicion where you hear this. Very few people thrive on this type of exchange yet networking is what we do. We all have a network of people we have dealings with but the connotation of “networking” has meant the idea gets muddied.
I tend to move away from using the word networking and talk about conversations
definition of a network is an extended group of people with similar interests or concerns who interact and remain in informal contact for mutual assistance or support.
Now to Converse is to engage in a spoken exchange of thoughts, ideas, or feelings; talk.
Networking seems to be something that is done to achieve an objective and the common idea of networking is to get more work (or get some work). A conversation takes away the agenda and builds up a relationship with another person. If you can do this without the expectation of receiving something then you will be well on the way to creating a better understanding of what networking is all about.
No one wants to be sold something they don’t want. Yet networking groups ask for you to promote other people so that they can grow their business and in return, you hope that they will do the same.
If you were to look at everyone you come across in your daily dealings, as someone to be interested in, (you are allowed to pick and choose here) you would find that your network would grow incredibly. Real conversations without agendas mean people will be inclined to stay close to you as you offer them more than a product or merchandise, you offer them an understanding and when they feel understood they also gain confidence. People will be drawn to you like metal filings to a magnet.
Real conversations are great for your business too. People want to do business with someone they feel they can trust
Cheers… Bill
